I was wanting a break from all the light pastel-y colors, I love them, but I needed a return to vibrant and shimmery colors. Hence, this polish.
This is two coats of Sinful Colors Copper Pot – it always reminds me of Harry Potter and the students’ cauldrons, maybe some future nail art?? The polish does tend to be streaky, but it suits the metallic shine. It’s a gorgeous orange-brown shade that shifts to yellow when hit by light. There are also little yellow and green specks tucked away in the polish. This is a beautiful unique polish that I really love.
Sorry I haven’t posted anything in two weeks. I’ve been on vacay before school starts, I was also stuck on this prompt. I tried around three different manis and countless color schemes before I was happy with the end result. So I ended up with giraffe nails. I used Sinful Colors Let’s Meet and brown acrylic paint. I plan to get Day 14 up soon, within the next few days or so.
So, this post would be a spoiler post but I forgot about these polishes and basically everbody’s heard about them so- not a spoiler post. Anyway, these three polishes: Charlotte, Severine, and Anais are nice- I would not have chosen these on my own but I like them as free polishes. All three of these minis are two coaters, a little streaky on the first coat but the second coat evened it out. Nail art with these three polishes are below.
Charlotte looks ok on me- kind of greenish but that doesn’t really bother me. I think this could be cool for some earthy-green-nature nail art.
Severine is my favorite. Its a whitish metallic gold but it is a little streaky. I like this color a lot. However, it seems similar to Zoya Brooklyn.
Anais is my second favorite polish, a dark metallic brown with some gold shimmer. This was probably the most disappointing because the polish in the bottle seemed like a black-brown with a gold shimmer. I still like the color though.
Over the past week or so, I have been wearing French Dentelle Nail Patch Art by Sephora. This is a beautiful black lace on a shimmery-ish light tan with a bit of white gold. In certain lights, it has a white shine, while in other lights, it has a yellow scheme. It also has a subtle glitter in light-kind of noticeable in the first picture. This is a really shiny wrap that comes with 16 in a pack. I suppose they gave you more for trial-and-error. These applied pretty well, repositioning it was a bit hard- sometimes it would touch your nail, stick, and stretch while peeling off, ruining the wrap. Overall, they were really easy to put on and the base shapes fit my nails. I used flash on the first picture so you could see the shine I was talking about. Days 1-7:
Overall, they lasted longer than nail polish for me. The nail on my pinkie didn’t even chip, there was only tip wear. I thought that was impressive. I really liked the design, it was pretty intricate and these wraps were nice and shiny. I really liked these and I received a lot of compliments!
